He began working at Hilltop Farms, but wanted to pursue a career in the building industry.  He began as a salesman for Guy C. He always said riding was so peaceful and calming.             He was a past President of the Johnston County Homebuilders Association, past member of the Masonic Lodge in Benson and past member of the Four Oaks Civitan Club.             One of his proudest achievements were his children. He is survived by a son, George Cameron Adams of Benson; daughter, Jordan Kasey Adams also of Benson; and the love of his life, Ginger Adams.  Also he is survived by his sisters, Edna A. Phipps of Four Oaks; Brenda Adams of Newton Grove and fiancé, Morris Beasley; Carolyn A. Williams and husband, James and Diane A. Massengill all of Four Oaks; and brother, George Harold Adams of Four Oaks; brother-in-law, Thomas Moore of Dunn; along with numerous nieces and nephews.  He truly loved his family and left a lasting legacy of Love.             The family will receive friends Friday, January 17, 2020 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Benson and other times at the home.             In lieu of flowers, Johnny asked that you do a kind deed for an elderly, widowed or handicapped person.
