Hilda Gray Wood

Benson, NC: Mrs. Hilda Gray Hobson Wood, age 83, of 1442 NC Hwy 27, died Friday, November 9, 2012, at her home.  Funeral Service will be 2:00PM Monday, November 12, 2012, at Holly Grove Advent Christian Church. Officiating will be Rev. Calvin Leavitt.  Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery. Mrs. Wood was born November 9, 1929 in Harnett County to the late Evander and Lula Tart Hobson.  She was also preceded in death by a grandson, “Scottie” Medlin. Mrs. Wood was a supervisor with Block Industries and was a homemaker.  She was a member of Holly Grove Advent Christian Church.  Surviving are Husband of 65 years, Marcus Wood; Daughters, Frankie Barefoot; Connie Hall and husband, Don; and Patti Barefoot and fiancé, Robert Hood, all of Benson; 4 Grandchildren; and 3 Great Grandchildren. Family will receive friends at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Sunday, November 11, 2012.
