David Barnes

Benson, NC:  Rev. David Lee Barnes, age 43, of 209 Suncreek Drive died Saturday September 8, 2018.  A Memorial Service will be held 3:00PM Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Benson Pentecostal Holiness Church, 8991 NC Hwy 27 East, Benson, NC.  Officiating will be Rev. Mark Fields. Rev. Barnes was born February 15, 1975 in Johnston County. He was an ordained minister and worked with Pizza Hut.  David was a member of Benson Pentecostal Holiness Church.              Surviving are wife, Katie Martinez Barnes; father & spouse, Danny L. & Polly Barnes of Benson; mother, Laylon M. Barnes of Benson; sister, Cindie Hill of Benson; brother, Danny M. Barnes & wife, Sandy, of Cary; step-brother, Matthew Elliott of Benson and Garth Lanning of Cary; step-sisters, Candi Long of Graham and Karen Neighbors of Four Oaks; mother-in-law, Stephani Martinez of Benson; sisters-in-law, Mariah Martinez of Benson and Aurora Tobin of Jacksonville, NC; and several nieces and nephews.             The family will receive friends immediately following the memorial service in the church fellowship hall.             Flowers are welcomed; however, memorials may be made to North Carolina IPHC Go Fund, P.O.
