Anthony Jones

Benson, NC: Mr. Anthony Ray Jones, age 64, of 4168 Elevation Road passed away  peacefully on Sunday, September 15, 2019 at the Durham VA Hospital. Memorial Service will be held 6:00PM Thursday, September 19, 2019 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home Chapel, Four Oaks. Deacon Tom Smith will officiate.                  Mr. Jones was born on February 19, 1955 in Johnston County to the late Willie Ray and Evelyn Jean Mooneyham Jones. He was a retired plumber and a US Army Veteran as a paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne. Mr. Jones enjoyed fishing and loved to build and fly his model airplanes.                       Survivors include his wife of 33years, Toni Smith Jones; daughters, Roxanne J. Barnes and husband, Joshua of Selma, Heather J. Sullivan and husband, Dillon of Four Oaks; beloved granddaughter, Evie Valdez; three sisters and one brother and several  nieces and nephews.             The family will receive friends immediately following the memorial service and other times at the home.             In lieu of flowers; donations may be made to the Four Oaks American Legion Post 346 c/o Reggie Parker 693 Parker Road Four Oaks, NC 27524.
