Raleigh, NC: Mr. Wayne Clifton Parrish, age 86, of Green Road passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2026 at his home surrounded by his loving family. The family will receive friends at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson from 1:00PM to 1:45PM on Tuesday, September 22, 2026. Funeral Service will be held 2:00PM-Tuesday, September 22, 2026 at the Rose & Graham Funeral Home Chapel in Benson. Burial will follow in Dixon Family Cemetery. 

Mr. Parrish was born on January 19, 1940 in Johnston County, NC to the late James Howard and Bitha Suggs Parrish. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Tonya Dale Parrish; sisters and brother, Mildred Miller, Ernestine Guy, Dan Parrish; step-daughter, Wanda Lattimore. Mr. Parrish was a retired auto mechanic and also worked in maintenance with Kipp Dell Homes in Raleigh. He enjoyed lending a helping hand to his family and friends.

Surviving include his wife, Shirley F. Parrish; son, Chris Parrish; grandson, Johnathan Lattimore; great-grandchildren, McKenzie, Elijah, and Mason; sister, Sonja Barbour; step-children, Jim Lattimore and wife, Lynn, Shelia Barham, Wayne Long; numerous step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; step-brother, Lester Riggs; several nieces and nephews. The family appreciates your thoughts and prayers during this time.

Flowers are welcome; however, memorials may be made to one’s favorite children’s charity in Mr. Wayne’s memory.
