Holly Springs, NC: Mr. Tommy Glenn McLamb, age 63, of Parker Creek Road, a native of Harnett County, passed away suddenly on Thursday, February 8, 2024 working on his passion trapping nuisance coyotes. Memorial Services will be held 11:00AM Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at Crossroads Church in Lillington. Officiating will be Dr. Ken Dalton.
Tommy was born September 16, 1960 in Harnett County. He was preceded in death by his father, Dewey “D. J.” McLamb, Jr. He loved mentoring to others that were interested in hunting and all things outdoors. Tommy loved to laugh and just show kindness to others. He worked for Quest Diagnostic as Logistics Team Lead.
He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Sue McLamb; daughters, Alicia LaMotte and husband, Phil, Jessica Johnson and husband, T. J., Melissa Auer and husband, Geoff; Tommy’s greatest joy was being Popa to his grandchildren, Gabriel and Nathaniel LaMotte, Aubrey and Lexi Johnson, James and Luke Auer; mother, Elsie McLamb; sister, Shelia Underwood; brother, Danny McLamb; several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends 6:00PM to 8:00PM on Monday, February 12, 2024 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Coats and other times at the home.
Flowers are welcomed; however, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 5216, GlenAllen, VA, 23058.
