Angier, NC: Mr. Tommie Gearld Beasley, age 81, of Greenleaf Road passed away on Friday, August 28, 2026 at his residence with his loving family by his side. The family will be holding a Graveside Service at 6:00 PM Monday, August 31, 2026 at the Sunset Memorial Park Mausoleum in Smithfield. Officiating will be his son, Rev. Brian Beasley. The family will receive friends immediately following the graveside service.

Mr. Beasley was born on May 12, 1945 in Johnston County to the late James Vermon and Vera McGee Beasley. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Beasley and brothers, Eugene Beasley and wife, Doris and Lynn Beasley. Mr. Beasley was a lifelong farmer and owned and operated Triangle Septic Tank Service until his retirement. He was a hard worker who loved the outdoors and working on the farm “Piddling” and taking care of his many animals. More than anything, he loved his family, especially his grandchildren.

Survivors include his fiancé, Linda Byrd; children, Kim Stephenson, Michael Beasley, Brian Beasley and wife, Tisha, and Amanda Adams; stepson, Craig Byrd; grandchildren, Zachary Stephenson, Melissa Beasley, Matthew Stephenson, Jack Adams, Luke Adams, Naomi Beasley, Noah Beasley, Hank Adams, Shelby Lynn Adams, and Emma Byrd; great grandchildren, Jalen, Bryce, Haddie, Parker, Liam, Lucas, Sammy, and Dorothy; brother, Jamie Beasley; sister, Loreta Beasley; and many nieces and nephews.
