Clayton, NC: Mr. Timothy Oral Hicks, age 58, of Woodside Drive passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield, NC surrounded by his loving family. The family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM on Friday, April 10, 2026 at the home of Linda Hicks. Memorial Services will be held at 2:00PM Saturday, April 11, 2026 at the Midway Pentecostal Holiness Church, 4371 NC-55 Dunn, NC 28334. Officiating will be Brother Jerry Hicks.

Tim was born in Wake County, NC, to the late Johnnie Wesley and Marie Hockaday Hicks. He was known to be a quiet man and enjoy the simple things in life. Tim enjoyed a good cold Mt. Dew and watching TV especially Hawaii 5-O and cop shows.

Survivors include his brother, Jerry Hicks and wife, Anita; his sister, Linda Hicks; and nephews, Brandon and Christopher Hicks; special fur nieces, Peanut and Peachy Pie.
