Stephen "Squeaky" Griffin

Coats, NC: Mr. Stephen “Squeaky” Stewart, age 72, passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2026 at his residence. The family will have a private memorial service at a later time.

Steve was born on August 28, 1954 in Harnett County, NC to the late Laverne and Audrey Lamm Stewart. He was preceded in death by his brother, Dan Stewart. Steve spent most of his professional career as a long-haul truck driver. Steve loved the open road and was a big drag racing fan.

Survivors include his brother, Doulgas Stewart and wife, Angel Bryant; nephew, Daniel Stewart.
