Stacy Glenn Lee

Clayton, NC: Mr. Stacy Glenn Lee, age 77, of Barber Mill Road passed away on Monday, September 19, 2022 at UNC Johnston Health in Smithfield surrounded by his loving family. Graveside Services will be 2:00PM- Friday, September 23, 2022 at the Johnson Family Cemetery in Meadow, NC. Officiating will be Revs. Doug Abel and Wanda Berrier.

Mr. Lee was born on May 10, 1945 in Johnston County, NC to the late Erastus and Bevie Dunn Lee. He was preceded in death by his sister and brothers, Clara Lee Blackmon and husband, Bobby, Larry Lee and wife, Bev, and Sherwood Lee; nephew, Gary L. Blackmon. Mr. Lee retired from Dorothea Dix Hospital and was a member of Mt. Pleasant Advent Christian Church in Clayton.

Survivors include his nieces, Diane B. Godwin and husband, Philip of Newton Grove, Linda B. Blackmon of Smithfield; sister-in-law, Lana Sue Lee of South Carolina; numerous great-nieces and nephews; numerous cousins; longtime friend and brother of 46 years, John Otte of Clayton, Matt O’Brien and Tabitha of Clayton; and special pet, Choco.

The family will receive friends 12:30pm-1:30pm Friday, September 23, 2022 at Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Benson, NC prior to graveside service.

Flowers are welcomed; however, memorials may be made to the SPCA, P. O. Box 607 Smithfield, NC 27577.
