Shirley Ann McGuire

Benson, NC: Mrs. Shirley Ann McGuire, age 79, of Red Hill Church Road passed away on Friday, May 22, 2020 at her daughter's residence surrounded by her loving family.  A Private Graveside Service will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery in Kingsport, Tennessee.              Mrs. McGuire was born on July 27, 1940 in Knoxville, TN to the late William and Margaret Campbell Armstrong. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. James McGuire; son, Jay Wadsworth; and several brothers and sisters. Mrs. McGuire retired from Holston Valley Community Hospital.             Surviving are her daughter, Sheryl McDaniel and husband, Scott of Benson; grandchildren, Justin McDaniel of Benson, Tyler McDaniel of West Palm Beach, Fl, Sami McDaniel of Benson; brother, Bill Armstrong and wife, Betsy of Kingsport, TN; sister-in-law, Lucy Hathcock and husband, Barrie of Winston Salem, NC; several nieces and nephews.             Due to the current health concerns the family understands you are not able to join them for the services. Your thoughts and prayers are appreciated.              Mrs. McGuire will be available for viewing, and you will be able to sign the register book on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 from 12:00 Noon -5:00PM at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson.
