Angier, NC: Mrs. Sheila Hargis Roberts, age 75, passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2026 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, October 5, 2026 at 1:00PM at the Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Coats. Elder David Brooks and Elder Tony Parker will officiate. Burial will follow at Lakeside Memorial Gardens in Angier.

Mrs. Roberts was born on April 12, 1951 in Harnett County, NC to the late Denton Dewey and Lillian Edna Byrd Hargis. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Jerry and Ronnie Hargis. Mrs. Roberts loved her family and people in general. She had this way about her that when you met her you felt like you had known her for years.

Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Dwight Roberts; daughter, Marie R. Detter and husband, Craig; grandson, Aaron Detter and wife, Nichole; soon to be great grandson, Asher Detter; siblings, Glenn Hargis and Denise Hargis Wooten.

The family will receive friends on Monday, October 5, 2026 from 11:45AM to 12:45PM at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Coats.
