Selah Grace Powell Psalm 139:13-16

It is with profound love and deep sorrow that we announce the brief but cherished life of Selah Grace Powell, who entered this world on October 23, 2026, at 8:44 in the evening, weighing 4 pounds, 12.2 ounces. She was 33 weeks in her mommy’s womb when she was born—already deeply known and fiercely loved.

Selah is the beloved daughter of Chris and Tiffany Powell, and the treasured little sister of Blaire. Though her time with us was short, the love that surrounds her is vast and enduring. She was awaited with hope, held with tenderness, and will be remembered with a quiet, steady joy that only a child so wanted can leave behind.

In the arms of her family and friends she was already cherished beyond measure. And now she rests safely in the arms of Jesus, where there is no pain, only perfect peace and endless light. We hold close the gift of knowing her, even for a moment. Her name, Selah—a pause for reflection and praise—reminds us to stop, to remember, and to give thanks for the small, sacred life that touched ours so deeply.

She is forever loved.

Please join the family in honoring Selah Grace on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at Cross Assembly Church of Raleigh’s Yonkers Road Campus. Visitation begins at 10:00 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m., officiated by Pastor Vic Ronquillo. Interment to follow at Historic Oakwood Cemetery located at 701 Oakwood Ave, Raleigh, NC 27601.

Memorials may be made to Sweet Grace Ministries a nonprofit who comes along beside the families who have to endure the loss of their babies. Those wishing to send flowers may have them delivered directly to Cross Assembly Church of Raleigh’s Yonkers Road Campus.
