Samuel "Sam" Alvin Knight

Selma, NC: Mr. Samuel “Sam” Alvin Knight, age 63, passed away on Monday, January 27, 2025 at Transitions LifeCare in Raleigh. Graveside Funeral Services will be 10:00AM Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at the Four Oaks City Cemetery in Four Oaks. Officiating will be Pastor Eddie White. 

Mr. Knight was born on July 1, 1961 in Cumberland County, NC to the late James Larry and Ann Lou Taylor McIntyre. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Mary, Doris, Linda, and a brother, Malcolm. Mr. Knight was a retired brick mason. He enjoyed Westerns and listening to country music. 

Survivors include his son, Lancer Knight of Princeton; sisters, Vivian and Irene; brother, Jimmy McIntrye; special friends, Jerry and Gail Baker of Selma; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends following the graveside service.
