Rose Sullivan Minshew

Four Oaks, NC: Ms. Rose Sullivan Minshew, age 83 passed away on May 11, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Funeral Services will be 3:00PM Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at the First Baptist Church of Four Oaks. Rev. John Norman will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hills of the Neuse Memory Gardens in Smithfield. The family will receive friends from 1:45PM to 2:45PM on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 in the fellowship hall prior to the service and other times at the home. 

Ms. Minshew born on June 23, 1940 in Johnston County to the late Jesse Nephi and Flossie Shirley Sullivan. She was preceded in death by her sister, Patsy Talton; and brothers, Brooks Sullivan and John Sullivan. Ms. Minshew was a retired bookkeeper for several auto dealerships in Smithfield. She loved attending First Baptist Church of Four Oaks and being with her church family. Ms. Minshew was one of the founding owners of Minshew Funeral Home in Four Oaks and called it an honor and a privilege to serve the families of Four Oaks.   

Surviving are her children, Kim Minshew Robertson and husband, Johnnie of Four Oaks, Anthony Othal Minshew and wife, Gretta of Raleigh; grandchildren, John Ross Robertson and wife, Shelby, Andrew Othal Minshew, and Abby Elizabeth Minshew; and several nieces and nephews. 

Flowers are welcomed; however, memorial may be made to First Baptist Church of Four Oaks, P.O. Box 717, Four Oaks, NC 27524.
