Willow Spring, NC: Mr. Ronald “Ronnie” Lee Jackson, age 64, passed away peacefully on July 26, 2026 at UNC Rex Healthcare in Raliegh, NC surrounded by his family and friends. The family will hold services at a later date.

Ronnie was born on March 6, 1962 in Texas to the late Johnny Mac and Shirley Marie Newsome Jackson. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Robert Dale Jackson, Johnny “Bean” Jackson, William “Buddy” Jackson. Ronnie was a retired flooring installer and jack-of-all trades and a master of his own. He was an avid fisherman, traveling to the mountains, and spending time with all of his adopted children.

Survivors include his sisters, Jenny Edwards, Vickie Jackson and husband, Al; life-long partner of 36 years, Ann Poste; adopted children, Timothy Poste, Erica Barbour, Nichlos Barbour, Autumn Morgan, and Pam Moser; adopted grandchildren, Hailey, Hunter, Peanut, Chandler, Mariah, and Levi; and several beloved nieces and nephews.
