Dunn, NC: Mr. Robert A. Jackson, age 82, of Bryant Pond Road, passed away on March 3, 2022 at his residence and surrounded by his loving family. Graveside Funeral Services will be held 11:00AM-Monday, March 7, 2022 at Thornton Cemetery in Newton Grove, NC. Revs. Billy Nowell, Randy Beasley, Richard Whitman will officiate.
Mr. Jackson was born on June 25, 1939 in Sampson County to the late William Ennis and Tempie Lucille Thornton Jackson. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Alleana Tart, Elizabeth Allen, and Judy Snipes and brothers, J.B. Jackson and Landon Jackson. Mr. Jackson was a lifelong farmer of various crops and animals.
Surviving include his brothers, Ennis Ray Jackson and wife, Faye and Rufus Jackson and wife, Margie; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends prior to the service on Monday March 7, 2022 from 9:30AM to 10:15AM at Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Benson.
