Richard Ramson Beasley, affectionately known as Rick, was born on August 1, 1956, in Johnston County, North Carolina. He departed this life on August 8, 2025, at the SECU Hospice House, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and service that will be cherished by all who knew him.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Rick's life during a visitation on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM, followed by a funeral service at 3:00 PM at Rose & Graham Funeral Home Inc. in Benson, North Carolina. The service will be officiated by Rev. Daniel Coates, with burial to follow at Banner Chapel AC Church Cemetery in Benson.

A devoted husband of 46 years, Rick is survived by his beloved wife, Lynn Beasley. Together, they created a nurturing and loving family that includes their sons: Richard Paul Beasley, James Leonard Beasley and his wife Angie, Jonathan Daniel Beasley and his wife Angela, and their daughter, Rachel Katherine Jones. He also leaves behind two older daughters from a previous marriage, Tonya Creech and Lynn Stanley. Rick took great pride in being the grandfather to 25 grandchildren, who brought him immeasurable joy and happiness.

Rick led a life marked by service and dedication. He served in the United States Army for 20 years, demonstrating a commitment to his country that stood as a testament to his strong character. Following his military service, he took on a significant role as a Manager in the Department of Agriculture for the state of North Carolina, where he applied his passion for serving the public.

Rick was a man of deep faith, loved God wholeheartedly, and was actively involved in his church community. He served as a deacon and a Sunday School teacher, generously sharing his knowledge and enthusiasm for the Gospel. On many occasions, he even took to the pulpit to preach, spreading the message of love and hope to those around him.

His mother, Garline Lee Stephens, preceded him in death, along with his grandparents, Leonard and Pauline Beasley and their memories remains a cherished part of his legacy.

Rick Beasley's unwavering spirit, love for family, and commitment to his faith will be long remembered, and his impact on the lives of those around him will continue to resonate. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
