Four Oaks, NC – Mrs. Peggy Elaine Lambert, age 80, of Kandypoo Drive, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, September 19, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Peggy was born on September 28, 1945, in Gaston County, North Carolina, to the late Durwood and Lucille Hopper. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald Page Lambert; her sisters, Anne Perry and husband Ralph, Mae Mitchell and husband Mitch, Sue Jonas and husband David, Doris Latham and husband Buren, and Kay Ledford and husband Jimmy; her sisters-in-law, Vivian Flynn and husband Bert, and Maxine Rice and husband Willie; her brother-in-law, Roland Ball; her nephews, Randy Flynn and Timmy Latham; and her niece, Missy Jonas.

Peggy leaves behind family who will cherish her memory forever, including her daughters, Teresa Lynn Alves and husband Pete, Elaine Lambert (Steve), and Janet Paige Lambert; her son, Terry Lambert and wife Alicia; and her treasured grandchildren, Ashleigh Lambert Schmidt and husband Levi, Marcos Pineda and wife Morgan, Kendrick Hughes, Dylan Lambert and wife Melissa, Abby Lambert, Alexis Alves (Myles), and Kinsey Hughes.

She was also blessed with three great-grandchildren who brought her much joy: Coletta Marie Pineda, Gabriel Lambert, and Elizabeth Lambert.

Also surviving are her sister-in-law, Clara Ball, along with many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends whose lives were touched by her kindness, love, and unwavering devotion to family.

The family sincerely appreciates your thoughts, prayers, and expressions of sympathy during this difficult time. A service to celebrate Peggy's life will be held at a later date.
