Patricia Ann Hegarty

Four Oaks, NC: Mrs. Patricia Ann “Patty” Hegarty, age 79, passed away on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at Johnson UNC Health Center in Smithfield, NC. A Private Service will be held.

Mrs. Hegarty was born on June 18, 1941 in New York to the late Herman and Nora Hall Penttila. She was a retired Teacher’s Assistant and was also a homemaker. She was loved by all her family.

Surviving include her husband of 58 years, William Thomas Hegarty; son, Mark Hegarty and wife, Cheryl Hegarty; daughter, Lisa Hegarty; four grandchildren, Jennifer, Brian, Evan and Connor.
