Patricia Ann Jackson Avery

Benson, NC: Mrs. Patricia Ann Jackson Avery, age 62, passed away on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Graveside Services will be 11:00AM Saturday, April 29, 2023 at Roselawn Cemetery.

Mrs. Avery was born on September 19, 1960 in Johnston County, NC to Shirley Ann Smith of Fuquay- Varina and to the late Charles Edward Jackson. She was preceded in death by her step-father, Randall Smith and her brother, Travis Jackson. She worked as a certified training manager for Dollar General. She loved walking the beach, picking up sea shells, and working in her flower gardens.

Survivors in addition to her mother; include her husband of 25 years, Robert Avery; children, Mindy Avery of Lillington, Wendy Thompson of Shallotte, Tracy Thompson of Plain View, Cara Avery of Hampstead; grandchildren, Jerry Coats, Cody Coats, Molly Keiper, Chase Keiper, Chrisalee Garofolo, Laney and Landon Garofolo, Brianna Cox, Riley Fuller, Liam Fuller, Chloe Thornton; great-grandchildren, Honey Gray, Austin and Bobby Coats; sisters, Bonnie Jackson of Dunn, Sherri Jackson of Benson; brother, Chuck Edward Jackson and James Jackson of Washington State; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends following the graveside service and other times at the home.
