Four Oaks, NC: Mrs. Minnie “Ruth” Williams Collier, age 89 passed away on Friday, September 4, 2026 at the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield surrounded by her loving family. Graveside Funeral Services will be held 11:00AM on Friday, September 11, 2026 at the Parker Family Cemetery in Four Oaks. Officiating will be Dr. Robert Cooke. Family will receive friends following the graveside service.

Mrs. Collier was born on October 25, 1936 in Johnston County to the late Clyde and Fannie Williams. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Roland Collier; her son, Wayne Collier; a daughter, Diane Stewart; a grandson, Joseph Guerrera; a great-granddaughter, Raven Stewart; and several beloved brothers and sisters. Mrs. Collier retired from PNC Bank in Benson as a teller. After retirement she work for the Benson Review Newspaper. She was an active member of Pauline Baptist Church in Four Oaks. Mrs. Collier was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. She enjoyed collecting ceramic eggs, Santa Clause statues, and traveling to the beach. Mrs. Collier motto in life “Everything is A-Okay!” She loved everybody “A bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck! Right On!”

She is survived by her children, Brenda Tart, Greg Collier and wife, Connie, Clay Norris and wife, Patty, Doyle Collier and wife, Cindy; grandchildren, Dianna Hill and husband, Michael, Jeremy Stewart and wife, Rhonda, Rachel Newman and husband, Billy, Amanda Stewart, Will Tart, Christopher Tart and fiancé, Kinsee Wise, Patrick Norris and wife, Hannah, Alex Huett and husband, Kite, Gregory Collier, II, and wife, Kaylee, Walker Norris and wife, Liberty; ten great-grandchildren; several beloved nieces and nephews.
