Michael Gilbert Parker

Benson, NC:  Mr. Michael Gilbert Parker, age 65, of Dogeye Road, passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2020 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Memorial Service will be 12:00 Noon Saturday, August 15, 2020 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Newton Grove.             Mr. Parker was born on October 26, 1954 in Johnston County to the late Bobby Gilbert Parker. He was self-employed with NASCAR.           Surviving include his wife of 23 years, Kim Lee Parker, step-father and mother, Walter and Jackie Blackmon Carey of Benson; sister, Lynn C. Stewart and husband, Tommy of Hampstead; special nephew, Parker Strickland of Hampstead; step-brother, Charles B. Carey of St. Louis, MO; step-sister, Stephanie Van Dresar of La Grange, TX; brother-in-law, Chris Lee and fiancé, Mandy Bragg of Goldsboro; sister-in-law, Jerri Jones of Goldsboro; several nieces and nephews.             Arrangements by Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson, NC
