Linden, NC: Ms. Melanie Susan Lyons, age 61, passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2026. The family will receive friends from 9:30AM-10:30AM, on Monday, July 13, 2026 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Coats, NC. Graveside Services will follow at 11:00AM at Bethel Church Cemetery, Angier, NC. Mr. Tommy Nipper will officiate.

Melaine was born in Fairbanks, Alaska, on October 11, 1964, to the late Robert Nelson Lyons and Anita Sue Skeen Lyons. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brothers, Donald Nelson Lyons, and Mark Alan Lyons. In her earlier years of life, she worked in the restaurant industry, and was also a homemaker. She loved her dogs, Boston Red Sox Baseball, reading, cooking, and loved her family.

Survivors include her son, Christopher Nelson Johnson and wife, Cassidy; grandchildren, Camden Johnson, Cayden Johnson, and Cora Johnson; sister, Jennifer Robin Lyons; several cousins.
