Mary Florence "Molly" West McLamb

Benson, NC: Mrs. Mary “Molly” West McLamb, age 84, passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. Funeral Services will be held 2:00PM-Saturday, August 17, 2024 at Friendly Chapel Church 11445 NC HWY 50 N, Benson, NC 27504. Rev. Elvin Butts and Rev. Glenn McCullen will officiate. Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery in Benson, NC. 

Mrs. McLamb was born on January 15, 1940 in Harnett County, NC to the late Jessie B. and Mildred Holmes West. Alongside her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, J. Thalton “Knotty” McLamb, stepfather, Edgar Norris, sister, Katherine Melvin, and brothers, Charles West and Junior West. Mrs. McLamb retired from Morganite, and was also a homemaker. She was a lifetime member of Friendly Chapel Church, Benson, NC. Mrs. McLamb loved Jesus, cooking, her flowers, and spending time with her family. 

Survivors include her sons, Jerome McLamb and wife, Lori, Michael McLamb, David McLamb and wife, Donna, and Marty McLamb; and special friend, Tina: daughter-in-love, Debbie McLamb; special dog, Charlie McLamb; grandchildren, Jeremy McLamb, Lisa Penny and husband, Jared, Gloriabeth McLamb, LeShanon Benson and husband, Ryan, Jacob McLamb wife, Rebecca, Jennifer Clemmo and husband, Scott, Justin McLamb and wife, Ashley, Katelyn McLamb, Matthew Edwards and wife, Caroline, and Jessica Allen and husband, Colby; great-grandchildren, Bryce, Ayden, Mason, Paisley, Lawson, Everly, Hazel Grace, Madison, Landon, Noah, Matthew, Molly, Spencer, Tyler, Rylee, Aubrey, Hazel Love, Edin, and Benjamin; brothers, Buddy West, John West, and Fulton West; many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6:00PM-8:00PM-Friday, August 16, 2024 at Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Benson, NC, and other times at the home.

Flowers are welcomed; however, memorials may be made to Friendly Chapel Church for Friendly Seniors 11445 NC HWY 50 N. Benson, NC 27504.
