Mary Weaver Ammons

Benson, NC: Mrs. Mary Weaver Ammons, age 69, of Benson Hardee Road passed away on November 24, 2022 at Hock Family Pavilion Hospice House in Durham, NC. The family will hold a private celebration of life at a later date.

Mrs. Ammons was born on February 15, 1953 in Wake County, NC. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Ammons; sister, Betty Weaver Dean; and brothers, Willie Weaver and Johnny Weaver. She retired from the North Carolina Public School System where she worked in food preparation. She was a loving mother and grandmother.

Surviving includes her children, David Ammons, Jamie Ammons, and Jessica Prater and husband, Josh; grandchildren, Lilly Dunlap, Mason Ewing, Brody Ewing, Kayla Ochoa, Lexi Prater, River Ammons, and Brayson Ammons; and brother, Tony Weaver.
