Coats, NC:  Mrs. Louise Norris Pollard, age 92, passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at her daughter’s residence.  Funeral Service will 11:00AM, Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Rose and Graham Funeral Chapel in Benson, NC. Burial will follow in Harnett Devotional Gardens in Dunn, NC.             Mrs. Pollard was born on November 29, 1928 in Harnett County to the late B.A. and Mattie Byrd Norris.  She was preceded in death by her husband, J.L. Pollard, sister, Kathleen Byrd and a brother, Billy Norris.  Mrs. Pollard retired from Roses Department Store with 20 years of service.  She was a member of Red Hill Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church.                Surviving include her children, Jennifer Edwards and husband, Mitchell; J. Timmy Pollard and wife, Amanda; grandchildren, Lisa Bass, Amy Pendergrass, and husband, Angel Pagan, Renee Santata and husband, Michael; Travis Pollard and wife, Wendy, Jonathan Beecham, Jordan Beecham and wife, Stephanie; great-grandchildren,  Jordan Baker, Tristan Pendergrass, Cody Pendergrass, Carson Pendergrass, Morgan Pollard, Lukas Pollard, Nickolas Smith, Bryleigh Smith, Skyler Cringle, Kinley Cringle and Kamryn Cringle; sisters, Ann Messler, Peggy Adams, Doris Dupree, Brenda Johnson, Helen Kirksey, Janet Stephenson, brothers, Jerry Norris and Mike Norris; many nieces and nephews.               Mrs. Pollard will be available for viewing and you may sign the register book from 12:00PM-5:00PM on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson, NC. The family will not be present during this time. The family will be receiving friends at the home of Jennifer Edwards, 4072 North Spring Branch Road, Dunn, NC 28334.                In accordance with NC-COVID-19 guidelines, the funeral home suggests practicing social distancing guidelines and the three W's: wait, wash, and wear a face covering.
