Lois Barbour Morgan

Benson: Mrs. Lois Barbour Morgan, age 90, of Allen's Crossroads Road died Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at Four Oaks Senior Center in Four Oaks, NC. Funeral services will be 11:00AM Friday, August 8, 2025 at the Rose & Graham Funeral Home Chapel in Benson. Officiating will be Rev. Randy Beasley. Burial will follow in Morgan-Wood Family Cemetery, Benson.

Mrs. Morgan was born June 12, 1935 in Johnston County to the late Julius Jackson and Leola Stanley Barbour. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Hubert A. Morgan, Sr.; sisters, Mildred Gregory, Jackie Branzelle, and Faye Fuller. Mrs. Morgan was homemaker, a pastor’s wife and served along beside her husband by playing the piano at the churches they served. Mrs. Morgan also taught piano and was an author of a piano instruction book.

Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Hubert Morgan, Jr. and wife, Athea of Virginia; granddaughter, Amy Jones of Benson; two great-grandsons, Liam and Noah Jones; sister, Joyce Strickland of Benson; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson from 10:00AM to 10:45AM Friday, August 8, 2025.

Flowers are welcomed; however, memorials may be to Liberty Home Care and Hospice, 105 Hunt Valley Drive, Dunn, NC 28334.
