Smithfield, NC: Mrs. Lisa Adams Smith, age 58, of Whitley Farms Road passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2026. Memorials Services will be 2:00PM Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at Pauline Baptist Church. Rev. Marshall Stewart will officiate.

Mrs. Smith, born on July 9, 1967 in Wayne County, NC, passed through life with a kind and giving spirit that was evident to all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Relmon Ray Adams and Ella Underhill Adams, and by her beloved husband, William Kay Smith; and her brother, Randy Adams. Mrs. Smith was known for her caring heart and her willingness to help others, especially through the handmade lotions she lovingly created for those battling cancer. She also enjoyed making candles, expressing her artistic talents, and preparing delicious meals for her family and friends. She took great pride in everything she did, always striving to be organized, thorough, and attentive to every detail. Above all, Mrs. Smith treasured the time she spent with her family and friends, who were the greatest blessings in her life. She will be remembered for her compassion, generosity, and the love she so freely shared with those around her, and her memory will forever be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Survivors include her aunts, Melba Taylor and husband, Jimmy, Ann Barbour and special friend, Ed; uncle, Ronald Adams and wife, Jane; and several cousins.
