Benson, NC: Mrs. Linda Sue Capps Hall, age 79 of Hwy 27 West passed away on January 20, 2026 at UNC Rex Healthcare in Raleigh surrounded by her loving family. The Hall Family will be holding a Private Celebration of Life Service at the Benson Pentecostal Holiness Church in Benson. A Public Memorial Service will be announced in the spring of the year.

Mrs. Hall was born on April 24, 1946 in Johnston County to the late William Alford and Nellie Norris Capps. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Violet B. Johnson, and Mary Capps Johnson; and her brother, Raeford Capps and W. A. Capps, Jr. Mrs. Hall retired as a dental office manager with Dr. Larry Williams, D.D.S. in Benson after 25 years. She was a life-long member of Benson Pentecostal Holiness Church where she served in many different capacitates. Mrs. Hall will be always known for her servant’s heart in ministering, encouraging others and she always remember your name. Mrs. Hall was a true Proverbs 31 Woman. She enjoyed working in her yards, gardening, and watching the hummingbirds. Mrs. Hall was an outstanding cook and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Surviving include her husband of 59 years, Larry Harold Hall; sons, Larry “Andy” Anderson Hall and wife, Jenny Langdon, William Johnathan Hall and wife, Heather; grandchildren, Ayden Anderson Hall, Ethan Garrett Hall; step-grandson, Aaron Hampton; brother, Rev. Mike Capps and wife, Janet; daughter-in-love, Robin Woodard and husband, Rodney; several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers; memorials may be made to the Benson Pentecostal Holiness Building Fund, 8991 NC 27 East Benson, NC 27504.
