Coats, NC: Ms. Linda Faye Norris, age 85, passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2026 at Central Harnett Hospital in Lillington surrounded by her loving family. Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2026 at 1:00PM in Devotional Gardens in Dunn. Elder David Cothren will officiate.

Ms. Norris was born on September 10, 1941 in Harnett County, NC to the late Turner G. and Bessie Matthews Stone. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nathan Billy Norris; a great granddaughter, Katherine Victoria Wood; a brother, Gary Stone and sisters, Loraine Lucas and Lucenia Page. Ms. Norris might have been 85 but she loved to work in her yard cutting grass and planting flowers. She was a devoted member of Angier Primitive Baptist Church. Ms. Norris loved taking care of her family and her cats. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.

Survivors include her daughter, Sherry Norris Wheeler and husband, Roger; granddaughters, Chrissy Lynn Wood and Miranda Wheeler Norris and husband, David; great grandchildren, Tristan Wood, Jaxon Norris and Luke Norris; special nephew, Donald Page and numerous other family members.

The family will greet friends after the graveside service on Thursday, October 8, 2026.
