Mrs. Aneretsky was born in Johnston County, NC, to the late Harvey Carl Barbour and Ina Rose Dixon Barbour. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Joe Carl Barbour. Born on the family farm, Linda was a happy farm girl, and still resided on the farm today. She was a retired book-keeper with Agri-Supply in Garner, NC. Linda loved the Lord. She thanked God for who He is, praised His name, prayed for others, and prayed for His will to be done in all things. Linda never wanted anything to go to waste, so she scheduled people to pick blueberries, and made sure the pears came off the trees for preserves to be made. She loved to dance, especially the SHAG, or as it was known in her teenage days as the BOP. Linda grew up with two loving and caring parents, who always made sure she and her brothers had what they needed, and in return she made sure her parents were cared for late in their life. Linda’s prayer was that everyone could have Jesus in their heart. Over the years, she was a member of St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church in Garner, NC, Hickory Grove Advent Christian Church, and Unity Advent Christian Church both outside Four Oaks, NC.
A loving daughter, wife, mother, sister, and aunt, she is survived by her husband of 35 years, Art Aneretsky, children, Christopher Carroll Watson and wife, Thanh, Douglas Michael Aneretsky, and Laura Christine Marks and husband, Daniel; grandson, Dante Julian Marks; brothers, David Michael Barbour, and Randy Wayne Barbour; nephew, Spencer Barbour and wife, Rose; niece, Kelsey Steele, and husband, Tommy; great-nieces, Nora and Charlotte Barbour.
Flowers are welcomed; however, memorials may be made to Unity Advent Christian Church 304 Unity Church Road, Four Oaks, NC 27524 or to Transitions Life Care 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607.
