Benson, NC: Mrs. LaRue Coats Hall, age 93, passed away at her home on Monday, May 4, 2026 surrounded by her loving family. The family will receive friends from 1:00PM to 1:45PM on Friday, May 8, 2026 at the Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson prior to the service. Funeral Services will be 2:00PM-Friday, May 8, 2026 at the Rose & Graham Funeral Home Chapel in Benson. Officiating will be Rev. Glenn McCullen. A Private Entombment Service will be held at Harnett Devotional Gardens in Dunn.

Mrs. Hall was born on July 18, 1932, in Harnett County, NC to the late Jeptha and Minnie Matthews Coats. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carroll G. Hall. Mrs. Hall loved to be outside and had a great passion for working in her flower gardens. She’d sweep the carport, just to have something to do. A child of the Great Depression, Mrs. Hall saved everything; very thrifty. She was a good cook, and devoted housewife and mother. She was a member of Ebenezer Presbyterian Church in Coats.

Survivors include her children, Landis Hall and wife, Ginger, Michele Kennedy and husband, Ronny, and Kevin Hall; grandson, Joseph “Joey” Carroll Hall; step-grandson, Chad Kennedy; brother, Ronald Coats; sister, Marie Watson; several nieces and nephews.

The Hall Family would like to extend a grateful appreciation to her caregivers, who were with her to the end, Carol, Sharon, Tiffany, Debra and Ann.

Flowers are welcomed; however, memorials may be made to the Benson Fire Department 313 South Elm Street, Benson, NC 27504 or Liberty HomeCare and Hospice, 105 Hunt Valley Drive, Dunn, NC 28334.
