Willow Spring, NC: Mr. Larry Clyde Ferrell, age 82, of Willow Spring passed away on Sunday November 30, 2025 at UNC Rex Hospital in Raleigh. Funeral Services will be held-1:00 PM Thursday, December 4, 2025 at Rose and Graham Funeral Chapel in Benson with the family receiving friends from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM prior to the service. Officiating will be Rev. Ronnie Hall. Burial will follow the service at 3:30 PM in Falls Community Cemetery at 12165 Old Falls of Neuse Road Wake Forest, NC 27587.

Mr. Ferrell was born on May 12, 1943 in Wake County to the late John Clyde and Netta Sears Ferrell. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, William Allen Ferrell and his sister, Elizabeth Faye Wray. Mr. Ferrell owned and operated Ferrell’s Welding Service for many years prior to retirement and his career is what created his nickname “Heat and Beat”. He was a hard worker and good provider and instilled that work ethic into his children. In his spare time, he was an avid golfer, member of Cape Fear Golf Club, loved to bowl, listen to gospel music, and was the best pig cooker. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Surviving is his wife, Debbie Ferrell; children, Vernon Parrish and wife, Kimberly and Melissa Ferrell Carey and husband, Paul; step-children, Joel Epps and Joyceanne Epps; grandchildren, Heather Reed and husband, Eric, Wyatt Epps, and Hayden Milnyczuk; great grandchildren, Logan James Reed and Nolan Richard Reed; sister, Judy Robertson; and many nieces and nephews.
