Wake Forest, NC: Mrs. Kimberly Faye Johnson Gentry, age 60, passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2026 at Wake Med in Raleigh, NC. A Memorial Service will be held 11:00AM-Friday, August 21, 2026 at Piney Grove Chapel Baptist Church 4440 A. Piney Grove Road, Angier, NC 27501. Rev. Kenny Branch and Rev. Michael Warren will officiate. The family will receive friends following the memorial service.

 Kim was born on November 5, 1965 in Wake County, NC. She worked in the retail industry, working with several retail drugstores. She had a special heart for animals. She loved her cat, Luke, and made sure every stray that came around was cared for. She loved going to watch racing at Wake County Speedway, and spending time every night watching her favorite crime shows. 

Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Donnie Gentry; son, Dallas Gentry and wife, Alexa; father, Jimmy Johnson and wife, Gloria; mother, Brenda Brown Thompson; step-brother, Scott Fish and wife, Crystal; several nieces and nephews. The family appreciates your thoughts and prayers.

Flowers are welcomed, however, memorials may be made to Piney Grove Chapel Baptist Church 4440 A. Piney Grove Road, Angier, NC 27501.
