Clayton, NC: Mr. Kenneth “BRUCE” Johnson, age 75, passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at UNC Johnston Health in Smithfield, NC. A Private Graveside Service will be held in the Johnson Family Cemetery outside Four Oaks, NC. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 2:00PM-Sunday, April 19, 2026 in the fellowship hall at Yelverton Grove Original Free Will Baptist Church 1094 Yelverton Grove Road, Smithfield, NC 27577.

Mr. Johnson was born on September 7, 1950 in Harnett County, NC to the late William Delmon Johnson and Ethel Massengill Johnson. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his special nephew, Dean Johnson. Mr. Johnson was a retired route supervisor with Ole North State Amusements, and JD Amusements. He was a US Marine Veteran, and enjoyed spending time with his morning Coffee Group, and especially his best friend, Danny Summerlin. He was a member of Yelverton Grove Original Free Will Baptist Church, Smithfield, NC.

Survivors include his wife, Wanda Dale Johnson, son, Donnie Johnson and wife, Kiko; granddaughters, Sasha Johnson, and Kierra Angell; brothers, Donald Johnson, and Junior Johnson; nephew, Matthew Johnson, and many other nieces and nephews.
