Katie Moore Tart

Benson, NC: Mrs. Katie Moore Tart, age 88, passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2022 at her residence.  Funeral Services will be 11:00AM-Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel in Benson, NC.  Rev. Randy Beasley will officiate. Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery in Benson, NC. 
Mrs. Tart was born on August 7, 1934 in Harnett County, NC to the late Lonnie Mack and Mamie Norris Moore.  Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Bobby Hill and Y. Ira Tart, son-in-law, Jim Phillips, grandson-in-law, Jonathan Overby, and six brothers, and two sisters. Mrs. Tart was a homemaker, and attended Red Hill PFWB Church.  
She is survived by a son, Glen Tart and wife, Debby of Benson, NC; daughters, Vicki Phillips of Lacanto, FL, and Ann Parker and husband, Ricky of Dunn, NC; grandchildren, Craig Johnson, Scott Tart and wife, Terri, Valerie Carillo and husband, Josh, Traci Phillips, Mary Overby, Cameron Rodgers, and husband, Robbie; nine great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. 
The family will receive friends from 10:00AM-10:45AM, Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Benson, NC, and other times at the home.
The family wishes to say thanks to the ladies at Central Harnett Cancer Center and to Liberty Hospice for their loving care given to Mrs. Tart. 
Flowers are welcomed; however, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
