Kathryn Jean Batchlor Simons

Four Oaks, NC: Ms. Kathryn Jean Batchlor Simons, age 91, of Heath Road passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at Barbour’s Court in Smithfield. Private burial will be held later in the Oakwood Cemetery in Raleigh. 

Ms. Simons was born on February 13, 1933 in Richmond, Virginia to the late Elzie Batchlor and Ethel Duke Batchlor. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter, Brenda Byrd. 

Survivors include her children, Kathleen Jones of Four Oaks, Susan Riley of Franklinton, Margaret Caudle of Raleigh and Bruce Driver of Raleigh; brother, Bill Chancelor; ten grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
