Benson, NC: Mrs. Judy Gail Pope McLamb, age 67, passed away on Friday, May 22, 2026 at the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield, NC. Memorial Services will be held 2:00PM-Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at Stones Creek Advent Christian Church in Benson, NC. Rev. Scott Johnson, Mr. Blake Adams, and Mrs. Susan Wallace will officiate.

Mrs. McLamb was born on July 3, 1958 in Harnett County, NC. She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Pinkney Pope, and a sister, Bonnie Pope Jones. She retired from the North Carolina Department of Corrections. Mrs. McLamb was a member of Stones Creek Advent Christian Church, Benson, NC, where she served in several capacities. She was a member of BAWO, and loved children, however her greatest loves were Johnny Mac, and Amanda.

Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Johnny Mac McLamb; daughter, Amanda McLamb Collier and husband, Michael; mother, Annie Miller Pope; sisters, Cindy Hair, and Charlene Pope; brother, Terry Pope; sisters-in-law, Brenda Gail Weeks, and Pansy Lee; several nieces and nephews, and the Valentino and Adams Families.

The family will receive friends following the memorial service, and they appreciate your thoughts and prayers.
