Raleigh, NC: Mr. Juan Diego Hernandez, age 38, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, September 16, 2026. A Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, September 23, 2026 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Newton Grove, NC. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 22, 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Benson.

Juan Diego was born on November 1, 1987 in Johnston County to Francisco and Liduvina Cendejas Hernandez. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Albertina Luna, Luis Cendejas, Maria Del Consuelo Hernandez, and his beloved dog, Marley. Born and raised in Benson, NC, he was a proud graduate of NC State University and a lifelong Wolfpack fan. He was tech-savvy, creative, and an artist at heart, with a wonderful sense of humor and a genuine love for all things geeky. He enjoyed scary movies, Pokémon, GalaxyCon, anime, and discovering new interests that captured his imagination. Handsome, kind, loving, and caring, he was the kind of person who always tried to do the right thing and never hesitated to help someone in need. He treasured his friends and family and brought laughter, kindness, and warmth into the lives of those around him. Of all the things he loved, though, nothing compared to the love he had for his beloved dog, Marley, who was truly his best friend and held a very special place in his heart. His loving spirit, sense of humor, creativity, and the joy he found in the people and things he loved will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his parents, Francisco and Liduvina Hernandez, siblings, Silvia Cendajas and Trinidad Zamora, Jr., Armando Aguilar and wife, Karina, Marisol Hernandez, Anamaria Hernandez, Maria Aguilar-Hernandez, Juanita Hernandez, and Angelica Hernandez; nieces and nephews, Ariana Higgins and husband, Keith, Daphanie Argandona, Joanna Vasquez, Juan Argandona, Mia Aguilar, Matthew Zamora, Alexander Aguilar, Blake Aguilar, Ivana Aguilar, and many other nieces and nephews; one great niece, Lorelai Higgins; and many cousins, extended family, and friends.
