Coats, NC: Mrs. Joyce Stevens Ennis, age 85, passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. Graveside Funeral Services will be held 2:00PM-Sunday, May 3, 2026 at Devotional Gardens, Dunn, NC. Mr. Shane Williams will officiate.

Mrs. Ennis was born on January 12, 1941 in Harnett County, NC to the late Delmar G. and Ruby Vann Stevens. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Bruce Ennis, great-granddaughter, Maddison LeAnn Ennis, and a brother, Graham Stevens. Mrs. Ennis was a 1959 graduate of Coats High School, and retired from Doretha Dix Hospital in Raleigh, NC as a ward clerk. She was a member of Red Hill PFWB Church, Coats, NC.

Survivors include her sons, Ronnie Ennis and wife, Petra, and Ricky Ennis and wife, Lisa; grandchildren, John Benjamin Ennis and wife, Jennifer, and Matthew Heath Ennis and wife, Amanda; great-grandchildren, CarLee Elizabeth Ennis and Ryland Bruce Ennis; sisters, Sue Williams, Peggy Moore, and Sherry Stevens; many nieces and nephews.

The family appreciates your thoughts and prayers and will receive friends following the graveside service.
