Benson, NC: Mrs. Josephine Davis McLamb, age 92, passed away on Monday, February 2, 2026 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. The family will receive friends from 6:00PM-8:00PM, Thursday, February 5, 2026 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson, NC. Funeral Services will be held 1:00PM-Friday, February 6, 2026 at Stones Creek Advent Christian Church, Benson, NC. Rev. Scott Johnson and Rev. Danny McLamb will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. McLamb was born on January 13, 1934 in Johnston County, NC to the late George Davis and Retha Adams Davis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Edna Gray Davis McLamb and Magdalene Jones. Mrs. McLamb was a farmer and homemaker, and co-owner of D & T Farms in the Meadow Community. She was a member of Stones Creek Advent Christian Church, where she served in many capacities. Mrs. McLamb was a wonderful cook, and loved to shop for her family. Her greatest joys were her family, especially her great-grandchildren, Grayson and Anniston.

Survivors include her husband of 73 years, Dalton B. McLamb; son, Timmy McLamb and wife, Brenda; granddaughter, Stephanie Williams; great-grandchildren, Grayson Williams and Anniston Williams; several nieces and nephews.

The family appreciates your thoughts and prayers, and will also receive friends at other times at the home.
