Coats, NC: Mr. Jonah Paul Weaver, age 86, passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at Oak Hill Assisted Living in Angier. The Weaver Family will be holding a private graveside service.
Mr. Weaver was born on October 29, 1935 in Harnett County to the late Paul and Gertrude Adams Weaver. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Duncan Weaver; a great-grandson, James McMillion; brother, Owen Gene Weaver. Mr. Weaver was a retired foreman in construction and was a US Army veteran.
Surviving include his daughter, Kathy W. Pope and husband, Kevin of Angier; grandchildren, Matthew Pope and wife, Amy and Amy McMillion and husband, Jeff; great-grandchildren, Jacob Pope, David Pope, Kai McMillion; brother, Gerald Weaver; several nieces and nephews.
