Jessie Benton Cobb

Angier, NC: Mr. Jessie Benton Cobb age 86, of Ennis Road, passed away on Monday, February 28, 2022 at Pruitt Health in Raleigh, NC.  Graveside Funeral Services will be 11:00AM, Friday, March 4, 2022 at Fellowship Community Cemetery, Angier, NC. Pastor Eddie White will officate. 

Mr. Cobb was born on July 27, 1935 in Johnston County, NC to the late George Brant and Thelma Weeks Cobb.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Arlene Cobb, sister, Dorothy Campbell and a brother, Linwood Cobb.  Mr. Cobb was a retired farmer and enjoyed hunting.

Surviving include his son, Jason Cobb and wife, April; grandchildren, Michael Cobb and Autumn Ulrich; sister, Georgia Adams; brothers, Jerriel “Pop” Cobb and Sherrill Cobb; several nieces and nephews.

There will be an open-door visitation from 1:00PM-5:00PM, Thursday, March 3, 2022 at Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Benson, NC. The family will not be present during this time.

The family will receive friends following the graveside service on Friday at the cemetery and other times at the Cobb home.
