Dunn, NC: Mr. Jerry Edward Allen, age 84, passed away on Monday, October 26, 2026. Graveside Services will be held-11:00 AM Thursday, October 29, 2026 at Devotional Gardens in Dunn.

Mr. Allen was born on February 7, 1942 in Harnett County to the late Jessie B. and Mary Ellen McLamb Allen. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Rosalea Allen and a brother, Jessie Verlon Allen and a sister, Shirley Elizabeth Adams. Mr. Allen spent his whole life farming and even in retirement he loved to use his hands to work his garden and yard. He worked up until the last day he could before he got sick. He was known for his hard work and his love for his family.

Survivors include his son, Dishon Allen; sisters, Alice Marie Raynor and Linda Sue Allen-Dawson.
