Clayton, NC: Mr. Jeffrey Scott Moore, age 63, passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2026 at UNC Health Care in Chapel Hill. The family will receive friends from 12:30PM-1:45PM, Wednesday, July 22, 2026 at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church 3000 E. Garner Road, Raleigh, NC 27610. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00PM in the Church Sanctuary. Rev. Bryan Chapman and Mr. Chris Martin will officiate. Burial will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Park, Clayton, NC.

Mr. Moore was born on August 9, 1962, in Harnett County, NC. He was preceded in death by his son, Ryan Taylor Moore. Mr. Moore was a private investigator, and also worked with Value Build Homes. He loved duck hunting, playing the guitar, listening to music, and was a crafty woodworker. His greatest joy was spending time with his family. He was a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church. Mr. Moore was also a Veteran serving in the US Marines.

Survivors include his parents, Jerry Edwin and Linda Pleasant Moore; children, Brandon Scott Moore and wife, Kimberly, Kelley Amanda Moore, Aidan Lawrence Moore, and Teagan Delaney Moore;  grandchild, Carter Moore; great-granddaughter, Emerson Kate; brother, Chris Moore and wife, DeAnne; and girlfriend, Jill Hinton; several nieces.
