James Edward Parker

Four Oaks, NC: Mr. James Edward Parker, age 70, passed away on Monday, November 20, 2023 at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill, NC.  Graveside Funeral Services will be 2:00PM-Friday, November 24, 2023 at the Parker Family Cemetery, Parkertown Road, Four Oaks, NC.  Rev. Tony Parker will officiate.

Mr. Parker was born on August 9, 1953 in Johnston County, NC to the late Willie Elbert and Mary Jane Adams Parker.  He was preceded in death by his siblings, Nancy Langdon, Joanne Langdon, Dorothy West, Leon Elbert Parker, and Johnny Mac Parker.  Mr. Parker was a retired plumber.  He loved life, and was loved by his family.

Survivors include his sister, Lorene Lee and brother, Bill Joe Parker and wife, Dona; special friend, Freda Covington; several nieces and nephews, cousins, and many friends.

The family will receive friends following the graveside service on Friday at the Parker Family Cemetery.
