James Moore

Dunn, NC:  Mr. James Edward Moore, age 73, of Weeks Road, passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2020 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh.  Graveside Service will be held 11:00 AM-Saturday, June 13, 2020 at McLamb Family Cemetery in Benson, NC. Rev. Chris Brown will officiate.                 Mr. Moore was born on February 16, 1947 in Harnett County to the late George Andrew and Rosella Wood Moore.  He was a retired mechanic and member of Trinity Lakeshore Pentecostal Holiness Church in Dunn. One of his greatest loves was to work and fish.              Surviving include his wife of 55 years, Elizabeth Tart Moore; children, Joann Lewis of Dunn; and James Earl Moore of South Carolina; grandchildren, Lynden, Levi, Susan, Courtney and Emily; several great-grandchildren; brother, Raymond Moore of Dunn; several nieces and nephews.             Mr. Moore will be available for viewing and you may sign the register book on Friday, June 12, 2020 from 3:00PM-5:00PM and on Saturday, June 13, 2020 from 8:30AM-9:30AM.  The family will not be present during this time.                          Due to the current health concerns the family understands if you are not able to join them for the services.
