James Moody "Jimbo" Barefoot, Jr.

Dunn, NC:  Mr. James Moody “Jimbo” Barefoot, Jr., age 63, of Bryant Pond Road, passed away on Thursday, September 10, 2020 at his residence.  Graveside Service will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at Roselawn Cemetery in Benson. Rev. Glenn McCullen will officiate.             Mr. Barefoot was born on March 16, 1957 in Johnston County to Joyce “Jackie” Hudson Barefoot of Dunn and the late James Moody Barefoot, Sr. He was a plumber with Celey’s Plumbing. Surviving in addition to his mother are; daughter, Natasha Hemenway of Niceville, FL; sister, Sharon Ivey of Dunn; brother, Jack Barefoot and wife, Elaine of Clayton; special nieces and nephews. In accordance with the current NC-COVID19 guidelines the funeral home suggest practicing social distancing guidelines and the three W's: wait, wash and wear a face covering. The family will receive friends at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson from 12:30pm to 1:30pm on Tuesday prior to the graveside service and other times at the home. Jackie and family. Tony and I are so very sorry for the loss of Jimbo. He went to school with my brother. We have known your family for yearsOur hearts are sadden for your loss.
