Iria Dewitt Langley, Sr.

Coats, NC: Mr. Iria Dewit Langley, Sr. , age 80, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family. Funeral Services will be 3:30PM Sunday, December 12, 2021 at Rose & Graham Chapel , Coats. Officiating will be Rev. Kevin Royal. Burial will follow in Lakeside Memorial Gardens, Angier.

Mr. Langley was born on January 16, 1941 in Wake County to the late Leonard Dewitt Langley and Denie Padgett Langley. Mr. Langley was also preceded in death by his daughter, Iris Jean Griffin. He was a retired truck driver as well as a cab driver.

Surviving include his wife, Diana Kay Langley; children, Lauren Marie Langley, Lisa Ann Mallot, Iria Dewitt Langley, Jr., Elizaberth Langley, Michael Anthony Langley, Jodi Keyona Langley, Hugh Holliman, Marsha Lynn Jarrett, John B. Gornik, Jr., and Jodi B. Gornik; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Eva Lee Royal and Dianne Edwards; special pets, Honey and Sugar.

The family will receive friends from 2:00PM to 3:15PM on Sunday, December 12, 2021 prior to the service at funeral home.
